Napa Valley · Since 1983
Mustards helped define a more relaxed, ingredient-driven kind of Wine Country dining, and it still feels like itself.
Chef-owner Cindy Pawlcyn opened Mustards Grill in 1983, bringing seasonal ingredients, global flavors and American comfort food together in a casual Highway 29 roadhouse.
Mustards became a gathering place for growers, winemakers, cooks, locals and visitors. The formula never needed much decoration: cook honestly, grill over wood, grow what you can, pour something good and make people want to come back.

Ribs, wood-grilled meats, salads, seafood and world-spanning flavor become part of the restaurant's identity.
The room, the sign, the garden and the food remain tied to the original spirit.

The Garden
The garden beside the restaurant is more than scenery. It is a working reminder that great Napa cooking starts with what is growing now.
